Habibullah Bahar College

Habibullah Bahar College is a private graduate college located in Shantinagar, Dhaka. Anwara Bahar Chowdhury, wife of former East Pakistan Health Minister late Habibullah Bahar, is the founder of this college. Currently, this college offers higher-secondary (science, humanities, and business education), graduate (pass) courses, and graduate (honors) courses in 23 subjects and post-graduate courses in 9 subjects, and professional honors courses in a total of 4 subjects including computer science and engineering. The college is affiliated with the National University.

The college is situated on an acre of land. Currently, there is a 12-storey building, an 8-storey building, two five-storey buildings, and a 2-storey building. There is a large pond. It has a rich library of about 17,000 books. There are seminar rooms and a canteen. The 12th-floor and 8th-floor buildings have separate elevators. There is a playground and a tennis court in front of the college.
